We are looking for an experienced SharePoint designer/developer to help us build our BOS BI portal using SharePoint 2010. This portal will be used by various internal groups such as BPOS Marketing, Support, Finance, Azure, Live Meeting etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and Designing the portal as per the specification using SharePoint2010
  • Understanding the business requirements received from various external groups to create the portal
  • Providing input and feedback on the design of the portal from a usability and presentation perspective
  • Working closely with the PM and QA team to analyze feasibility of the business requirements for developing and designing the portal
  • Enabling the Performance Point features in SharePoint2010 for self serve reporting
  • Content management and content authorization of the portal
  • Administration and maintenance of the portal
  • Maintenance of other BOS BI internal SharePoint sites
  • Analyzing the data to create reports, scorecards and dashboards using SQL and/or MDX capabilities, ProClarity reports or Data analysis cube reports
  • Unit testing the data retrieved or reports created before handing them off to the QA team
  • Deploying created reports to SharePoint 2010 portal
  • End to end ownership of handling multiple requests during busy period with aggressive timelines.

Qualification Required:

  • 5+ years of SharePoint design, development, management, administration and maintenance experience
  • 5+ years of using Performance Point Server to create dashboards etc..
  • Knowledge of SharePoint 2010 along with experience using Performance Point Server as an integrated feature of SharePoint 2010 to enable drill down or drill through reporting
  • UX presentation layer design and development expertise using web services, Silverlight
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, ProClarity and other MS Office applications
  • Expertise in SQL queries, MDX queries, SSRS and SSAS reporting
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong cross team collaboration and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Business Intelligence applications such as Data Mining
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

We are looking for an experienced Reporting Analyst to create dashboard, scorecards and reports by writing backend queries and stored procedures to pull data from our warehouse or from our cube for various internal groups such as BPOS Marketing, Support, Finance, Azure, Live Meeting etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the backend systems as new data sources are on-boarded
  • Understanding the business requirements received from various external groups by taking part in triage meetings or talking to them
  • Working closely with the PM and QA team to analyze feasibility of requirements for pulling data or creating reports, dashboards, scorecards
  • Retrieving the data from the backend systems by writing complex SQL queries based on the requirements received
  • Analyzing the data retrieved to create scorecards and dashboards
  • Engaging and partnering with external teams to provide insightful analysis of the business through understanding of key business drivers and data mining
  • Developing SSRS reports using SQL and/or MDX capabilities, ProClarity reports or Data analysis cube reports
  • Unit testing the data retrieved or reports created before handing them off to the QA team
  • Deploying created reports to SharePoint 2010 portal
  • End to end ownership of handling multiple requests during busy period with aggressive timelines.

Qualifications Required:
